Human Resources Manager

Remington Seeds, LLC is a global seed production and service company.
We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist for our U.
S.
business operations.
This position reports to the company CEO.
As an HR Generalist you should have a broad knowledge of all human resource functions and an eager willingness to be actively involved in these areas.
You will undertake a wide range of HR tasks and utilize the Human Resources Information System to ensure all employee records are up-to-date and confidential.
In addition, you will act as the main point of contact for employees and management on all HR-related topics.
The goal of this position is to help develop and ensure the HR department's operations run smoothly and effectively to bring value to the organization as a whole.
Responsibilities Manage all activities of HR, payroll and benefits.
Manage fair and consistent administration of policies to maintain compliance.
Ensure compliance with federal, multi-state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Participate in the development of HR policies and procedures.
Review, develop and oversee benefit plans.
Serve as a trusted advisor and resource to employees and management on HR related matters, including policies, procedures, benefits and relations.
Collaborate with management to develop and implement effective performance management programs.
Oversee and assist with payroll administration.
Administer Short-term Disability benefits.
Develop, implement and conduct training programs to ensure compliance with governmental regulations.
Prepare offer letters and employment packets for full time employment.
Help organize training & development initiatives.
Promote HR programs.
Gather and analyze data for HR projects and measurement.
Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form.
Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities.
Review of and revisions to employee handbook.
Manage background checks and drug screenings.
Requirements 3-5 years' experience as a proven HR Generalist with benefit, payroll, employee relations and employment law knowledge.
HR Certification from either HRCI or SHRM.
Demonstrated knowledge and application of HRIS systems.
Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
Strong knowledge of MS Office.
Excellent communication and people skills.
Aptitude in problem-solving.
Desire to work as a team.
Bachelor degree in Human Resources preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
