Duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Support and contribute to Site and Corporate safety initiatives, including Process Safety Management.
Development of project scopes, estimates and schedules in support of engineering, procurement and construction efforts. Assignments will be designed to allow development in safety, design, procurement, estimating, scheduling, and so forth, such that the employee understands the project process.
Design process improvements to meet technical needs. Includes the creation of mass balances, process flow diagrams, and cost estimation for modifying processes. Support capital project (
Continuously build a body of technical knowledge around DuPont unit operations and processes.
Develop and communicate variances and provide improvements in operating standards and equipment to meet DuPont goals on quality and producitivity.
Develop ideas to improve overall plant performance using sound engineering sciences. Analyze data for ongoing operations to provide direction on upgrades to improve quality and cost.
Support site specific and company wide programs and initiatives.
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering. Chemical Engineering preferred
Entry level to 5 years experience in Production or Manufacturing Engineering. Pay will be commensurate with experience.
